Ready to share your great stories and photos? Got a favorite photo of yourself about the time of your story? Posting is quick and easy.
- Click on Post Your Story in the blue log-in box on the home page, on the right – or here. (It will open in another window.)
- Enter your title and post.
- Select category(ies) for your post, on the right, under Categories/All Categories. Choose as many categories that your story fits. To get the most views, check at least one sub category. (You can tell by the way the list is formatted “The Times” is a category. “The Fifties” is a sub category.) Please do not check “Featured Article.”
- If you’re done and don’t want to add photos click Submit for Review. Thanks for sharing.
- If you want to finish up later click Save Draft.
- You can come back to your story anytime by clicking on Post Your Story. In the upper left click Edit. Mouse over to your story and click on Edit underneath the title.
Adding Photos
- Click Save Draft.
- Click Media. Then Add New. Select your photo from your computer with Browse. Then upload with Upload. You’ll see a thumbnail of your photo at the top. If you want to add more photos, click Add New again. Lather, rinse, repeat.
- When you’re done uploading photos, on the top left click Edit. You’ll see your post title, followed by Draft at the top. Mouse to it. An Edit option will appear underneath. Click Edit.
- Back on the Edit Post Page, click Submit for Review.
